This Privacy Policy explains how GJS Appraisal Services LLC (“The Residential Eye,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information submitted through theresidentialeye.com.
Information we collect
We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it to us through the service-request form on this website. The information you provide may include: your name, company or institution, role, phone number, and email address; point-of-contact details (if different from the requestor); the property address, county, and assessor’s parcel number (APN); details relating to the service you are requesting; and any special instructions you choose to enter.
When you submit the form, our hosting infrastructure automatically records the IP address of the submission. We use this solely for security and anti-spam purposes — for example, to identify and block abusive submissions.
We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking on this website. We do not track your activity across other websites. We do not engage in behavioral profiling.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to: respond to your service request and prepare a quote; schedule and perform the services you have requested; communicate with you about your assignment; and maintain records reasonably necessary for business, accounting, and legal purposes.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information.
We use the following service providers to operate the website and deliver communications. Each receives only the information it needs to perform its function and is contractually required to safeguard it.
- Vercel, Inc. — website hosting infrastructure. Vercel processes the form submission on our behalf and routinely logs limited request metadata (such as IP address and timestamp) for operational and security purposes.
- Resend, Inc. — transactional email provider. Resend transmits your service-request submission to our inbox and sends you a confirmation email containing the information you submitted.
We may also disclose information when required to do so by law, in response to a lawful request from a government authority, or to protect our legal rights.
Data retention
We retain service-request records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, perform the services, and maintain business, accounting, and tax records. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or de-identify it.
Your rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing admin@theresidentialeye.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Nevada residents. Under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A, Nevada consumers may direct a covered operator not to sell their covered personal information. As noted above, we do not sell personal information.
California residents. Subject to applicability and statutory thresholds under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents may have the right to know what personal information we hold, request deletion or correction of that information, opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect, including encryption of submissions in transit via HTTPS and access controls on our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adult, business-context use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.
